Great jacket, but one thing though

I will say the jackets are definitely worth the buy. Putting them on felt so comfy and perfect but there's only a slight hiccup. I ordered the Death the Kid denim jacket and I ended up getting the Shinigami Cross jacket instead, I had ordered one but I also ordered the Shinigami cross jacket as a gift to my dad and the Death jacket for me. Still, a very nice jacket at the end of the day. Just the wrong one.

Amazing Jacket & Amazing Customer Service!

Originally when I preordered this jacket around a year ago, I had ordered it as an Extra Large, thinking that would best fit my body. However, when it arrived and I tried it on, I found that it was a bit too big on me, looking almost as if I was a little kid wearing his father's coat, haha.

I quickly reached out to Anime Gear Guru through email and asked if I could possibly exchange the jacket for a different size. They went through a few different hoops for me, and at the end of the day they were able to put in an exchange for me once I returned the jacket (they also paid for the return label!) I did have to wait a fair bit for the next preorders/shipments to come around because of the tariff situation mainly, but once it came in, now a size Large, it fits perfectly! The jacket is SO cool, and when I had originally gotten the Extra Large I was so scared I wouldn't be able to wear it because of its size, so getting to wear it now with a perfect fit is simply amazing!

I truly love this company and can't thank them enough for their amazing customer service! Huge shoutout to James! :)

It’s great but….

Love the material and how sleek it looks.. but the sizing is way off by regular American standards. I normally am a 2xl and I size up to 3x I read some reviews and everyone said to go up 2 sizes and I did, but when I tried it on it was kinda tight for a 4xl and short

Our denim jackets are high-end, limited-edition pieces crafted with premium materials, embroidery, and detailing. Because of their collectible nature, we strongly advise:

Recommended Care

Spot Clean First
- Use a damp cloth or soft brush with mild soap to remove small stains.
- For light odors inside the jacket (lining, armpit area):
  - Mix a small amount of mild detergent or white vinegar with water.
  - Dab gently on the inside fabric using a clean cloth.
  - Allow to fully air dry before wearing.
- Avoid scrubbing embroidery or printed areas.

Only If Machine Washing is Unavoidable

Denim / Cotton

Standard care options for our denim/embroidered (Jacket, Long Cloak, bucket hat) are as follows:
• Hand / Machine wash using only cold water. If machine washing, ensure a gentle cycle is selected.
• Use only very mild detergents (approved for denim)
• Do not tumble dry
• To ensure maximum life of bucket hat we recommend hand washing and hang drying, if you can not resist drying in the dryer make sure to keep dryer at a very low temperature!
• Avoid mixing with other colors!

Polyester / Fleece

Standard care options for our Polyester/Fleece Jackets are as follows:
• Turn jacket inside out before Hand / machine wash using only cold water. If machine washing, ensure a gentle cycle is selected.
• Use only very mild detergents (approved for polyester/fleece)
• Do not tumble dry
• To ensure maximum life of jacket we recommend hand washing and hang drying, if you can not resist drying in the dryer make sure to keep dryer at a very low temperature!
• Avoid mixing with other colors

Nylon / Polyester

Standard care options for our nylon/polyester Jackets, Shirts, Bombers are as follows:
• Hand / Machine wash using only cold water. If machine washing, ensure a gentle cycle is selected.
• Use only a mild detergent (approved for nylon/polyester)
• Tumble dry low.
• Do not iron, air dry only.
• To ensure maximum life of jacket we recommend hand washing and hang drying, if you can not resist drying in the dryer make sure to keep dryer at a very low temperature!
• Avoid mixing with other colors

Headwear

We recommend not to wash, and spot clean only.
If you do decide to wash please see the instructions below.
• Use a laundry bag: Put the headwear inside a mesh laundry bag or pillowcase to protect it from damage.
• Delicate cycle: Select a gentle or delicate wash cycle with cold water.
• Avoid tumble drying: Never put headwear in the dryer as it can warp the shape. Air dry!
